Oktoberfest at RiverView Townes

On Thursday October 27th, PBC,  One Properties Group + OnQ Financial celebrated a gorgeous fall evening at the RiverView Townes.  This exclusive broker event was to introduce the locals to the neighborhood and see what the Townes have to offer in finishes + details.  The first two units are scheduled to be completed late November and we are tentatively scheduling an “Open House Party” in early December!

From WCFHBA:  Since 1986, the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association has showcased the region’s finest new homes through the Annual Parade of Homes.  This year was significant in many ways, as the event not only celebrated it’s 30th Anniversary, but also featured the first ever Showcase Community Sponsor, Compass Pointe.

This year’s Parade featured 83 single-family houses, townhomes, and custom built homes with a combined value of $41.5 million dollars. The homes were categorized by price range and judged based on craftsmanship, quality of materials, and interior and exterior features.  The winners of the competition were announced at the Annual Awards Banquet, held Friday April 29th at the Wilmington Hilton Riverside.

Welcome John Jarvis + Will Weir

Please welcome our two newest team members, John Jarvis and Will Weir!

John Jarvis joins the PBC Sales Team representing New Hanover County. His strong background in sales, construction + design– specificially in kitchens, baths and architectural concrete–gives him an advantage when curating the blueprint of a custom home. John Jarvis: “There is nothing I love more than walking the site with a client and making their home dreams come true with my team of designers and the quality that Plantation Building Corp brings to the project.” John has lived on Pleasure Island for almost a decade with his wife and 3 children, enjoying the local surf and beach community.

Will Weir joins the PBC Project Manager Team representing New Hanover County. His well established construction experience began in college when he was a draftsman for a local architect designing coastal homes and small commercial projects. Upon graduation, he was employed as a superintendent for a commercial construction firm that had projects across the state, which led him to the Wilmington area where he has been building homes for the past two years.
